Endorsed by Dan Bongino!

Friends,

I’m honored today to receive Dan Bongino’s endorsement for my candidacy for Cecil County Council.

As many of you know, Dan Bongino is a nationally known conservative Republican leader and commentator who is currently running for Congress in Maryland.

Here’s what Dan had to say:

“Finally, there is a candidate for the upcoming election I have met, and he represents the change we need here in Maryland. In Cecil County, Robert J. Willick for County Council. This man is an outsider to the political process but he supports, and is willing to fight for, liberty, property rights and the expansion of economic prosperity, not government budgets. Please support this man.”

We are less than 3 weeks away from the June 24thRepublican Primary.

I need your help today to win in the home stretch.

Can you give $25, $50, or even $100 to the campaign right now online to help us win?

I am in a 3-way, contentious Republican primary.

This election will be very close and will be decided on who can get their message and their supporters out in the upcoming election.

It is very likely that the winner of this primary will be in great position to win the general election in a conservative county like ours.

That’s why this primary election is so important.

The primary election is on June 24th and Early Voting starts on June 12th so time is running out to get our conservative message out to voters.

If you support limited government, conservative principles, and economic freedom please support the campaign today in whatever way you can.

The Shameless Exploitation of Veterans for Political Gain

Friends,

I was recently made aware of an upcoming event in which our veterans are being used to advance the political agenda of a local PAC and the politicians they support.

My good friend Ron Jaggers, who is a long time Liberty activist and a veteran himself, sent me an email noting how “low” this type of political ploy is.

Mr. Jaggers was referring to an event that is being touted as “A Salute to Our Veterans” which is being orchestrated

…by the Cecil Business Leaders for Better Government Political Action Committee.

And who is getting top billing (and the only ones pictured on the flyer) at this event?

Dan Schneckenburger, Joyce Bowlsbey and George Patchell – the three candidates that the Cecil Business Leaders PAC is so desperately trying to get elected to County Council.

You see, the Cecil Business Leaders PAC spent $76,000 to help get Executive Moore and Councilors Hodge and McCarthy elected during the last election.

They are now endorsing Schneckenburger, Patchell and Bowlsbey (a former Board Member of the PAC) in hopes of filling all of the Council Seats with “their” people.

This “Salute to our Veterans” is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to promote the candidates that will serve the CBL PAC’s interests.

What’s worse is that the featured activity at this event is a “meet and greet including selfies with the candidates”!

Selfies with the candidates? Are you kidding me?

Who do Schneckenburger, Bowlsbey and Patchell think they are?

When did candidates for County Council start believing that they are “Rock Stars” that citizens want to have their picture taken with?

No wonder my friend Mr. Jaggers was offended.

It is obvious to everyone that what is being billed as “A Salute to Our Veterans” is actually the exploitation of our heroes for shameful political purposes.

Mr. Jaggers is right. This is indeed “low.”

The best way that we can help our veterans (and everyone else) is to provide tax relief to all citizens.

I will never resort to the shameless exploitation of any group in order to win votes.

I will instead give you my word that I will work tirelessly to cut taxes and spending, reduce the size of government and offer school choice to our citizens.

I firmly believe that everyone benefits the most from being able to keep more of their own money and finding ways to accomplish this is a top priority of mine.

Ask yourself this – if candidates like Schneckenburger, Bowlsbey and Patchell will attempt to use our military heroes in order to win a Council seat…

…what other self serving strategies would they use should they be elected to office?

You should also consider whether you want an entire Council that owes a “Business PAC” for helping them win their respective elections.

Local government should be for the people, by the people and not beholden to wealthy business owners with their own agenda.

Please vote Willick on June 24th and chip in $25, $50, or even $100 dollars to our campaign today if you support a better future in Cecil County.

FY2015 Cecil County Budget

Friends,

In typical fashion our County Executive came out with another SPENDING INCREASE budget for this upcoming year.

Rather than hold the line on spending or even–gasp–cut government spending, Tari Moore is planning to ramp up more spending this year with a proposed $5,000,000 dollar increase!

And you know what that means?

More taxes too.

And the worst part is that the County Council is doing nothing to oppose this.

We haven’t heard a peep from any of the Council members.

I oppose increasing county spending and if I were on this Council right now, I would have already made a statement to say as much.

It’s easy to simply increase spending and taxes when you don’t want to make hard decisions and set priorities.

But what the people of Cecil County ask of our elected officials is to LEAD and to do the right thing when in office.

Sure, not allowing spending increases in a budget won’t make you friends with the government employees in the county building, but who is it that we represent?

County employees or ALL of the PEOPLE of CECIL COUNTY?

I know families in our county who are fighting to survive.

Mom and Dad are both working, sometimes more than one job, to feed their family and make ends meet.

What kind of message does it send to our citizens when politicians are voting to increase spending and give government employees pay raises?

If you’re looking for a candidate who will do you favors or use his office to give handouts to political constituencies, feel free to vote for someone else.

But if you want to elect an individual who will work to keep the government off your back, I hope you’ll consider supporting my campaign.

I have no interest in running people’s lives or taking more and more money away from their families.

I’m running for office because I am sick and tired of seeing local, state, and federal governments constantly steal away our individual rights.

Please click here right now if you can chip in $25, $50, or $100 to this campaign to help us win the Republican Primary on June 24, 2014 for County Council in District 3.

One of my opponents, Mike Dunn, is an incumbent politician already on the County Council who has voted against our liberties as many times as he’s voted for protecting our liberties.

My other opponent, Dan Schneckenberger, is a card carrying member of the political Establishment in Cecil County–already pledging to implement their liberal agenda.

If you don’t want to reward an incumbent politician for bad political behavior or elect a new stooge for Tari Moore–I hope you will consider voting for me andcontributing today to our campaign.

Competing in a three way Republican primary means that every dollar we raise, every voter we can talk with–can make all the difference.

Speaking the truth and staying unaligned with this faction or that faction in Cecil County can make it hard to fundraise.

So I hope you will consider chipping in whatever you can today online right now so that we can keep pushing our message out to the voters of Cecil County.

Click here now to donate to our campaign for more jobs and less taxes in Cecil County!

My wife and I want the best for our son and for all of the young people in this county.

We want them to have the option to stay here to make a living and raise a family.

As your next County Councilman, my mission will be to make Cecil County the best it can be by getting the government out of the way and letting our citizens pursue their dreams.

Campaign Announcement

Friends,

I’m running for Cecil County Council and I hope I can count on your vote in the upcoming election.

My wife and I are raising our son in Rising Sun and we want a better future for him.

I believe that the next generation should have it better than the generation before.

The every day decisions that are made by the County Council and County Executive in Cecil County have long-term impacts on our community.

The #1 issue facing our county is job creation.

And my top goal in office will be to create a pro-jobs environment in Cecil County.

That means advocating for:

**** Lower Taxes
**** Less Government
**** Protection of Private Property Rights
**** More Educational Opportunities for Our Kids

I own and operate an electrical contracting business and hear from people every day about how they’re struggling in this economy.

The county continues to increase spending by millions while passing new taxes and fees.

And to add insult to injury, they just put taxpayers on the hook for $70,000,000 million dollars in new government debt.

Enough is enough.

Win or lose, my goal with this campaign is to promote the cause for liberty to improve our county.

We are not servants of the government, they work for us.

It’s time to fight back.

Bob Willick
